I love mixing high and low pieces even when it comes to my home. As you may already know, my peacock obsession is at an all time high. This print has an old school flare with a touch of modernity. After Thanksgiving comes holiday shin dig after shin dig. Along with this comes, "omg. What do I wear to this? I want to look GOOD, James might be there." OR "omg. I don't want to look too revealing at this years company holiday bash. Ugh." OR "I don't want to be too dressy or too casual" Don't stress! Let this be a fun outlet for you to express your inner style! I always look forward to getting all dolled up for an event. Its refreshing and rejuvenating!

For a Holiday Cocktail Party opt for something above the knee with a little sex appeal. If you fear you will be too sexy-wear a fitted blazer, fitted leather jacket, or cute cardigan over a dress like below. It's the holiday's, shine in this years glitter and sequin trend! a new obsession

When it comes to paper, stationary, notebooks, journals, pens, etc I can get a little crazy! I LOVE all specialty paper. When my pen hits a new journal or fresh piece of amazing paper, my thoughts thrive. I write and inspire myself. I stumbled across the site Red Stamp and think I may have fallen in love (again). Some favorites...

Small Town Shops = Big Time Style

Over the weekend, I visited the Chester Holiday Market. It was so nice to stroll with the family, visit the local boutiques, and pick up some fresh produce. What I wasn't expecting was fabulous fashion! To be honest, I'm a bit sick of looking at frump-ville fashions in almost every boutique i visit in CT (with the exception of a few).
I stumbled upon an amazing vintage boutique that is usually closed every time I visit Chester. I cannot remember the name for the life of me- but I just adore this jacket:

If you walk down the block to the very end you will see it! Snatch up this jacket before its too late...(or before I do!)

Across the street at C&G I found these awesome shoes. Or as a friend and I like to call them: 'Shabooties'. (Shoe/Bootie...get it?

I know...but very fun to say.) Best of all- they are only $65.00! Update your look ladies! These may be a risk for some women, but take the chance! It's revitalizing!

Lastly, for some comfortable everyday clothing, check out
Nicole Armster Design. These screen printed tee's and pants are great loungewear, yoga wear, or t-shirt and jeans wear! My favorite is a gold screen printed peacock. I have to admit: I love peacock anything (my grandma Mildred used to collect peacock pins so I've got a soft spot). Best of all? They are SOFT and thin! Layer ladies! Here's a long 'bird' tee and 'bird' pant below. The tee can be worn as a dress with leggings! Throw on a cardigan over it and some great boots or flats for a comfortable and stylish look!
